Hello Voxtropolis and M citizens,

I would like to announce to you our next humanitarian project. Build A Village has partnered with VillageNext to make a difference in an HIV orphanage in Ethiopia. I have accepted a position on the board of VillageNext and in October I will be going to Ethiopia as part of the board and as director of Build A Village to document the needs and see how we as a community can help. We will be hosted by the Minister of Women’s Health and his wife who is an official at the UN.

Our present goal is to help raise $15,000.00 towards an HIV testing machine that will allow people to found out the status of their infection and get treatment. I’m very excited because I know that together we can do this.

Stay tuned for more updates. I will let you know soon the how and where to donate to this project.

I’m extremely happy to announce that our first project as a community has been completed and now the Pokot people of Kenya have good drinking water.

Mike Harris, the founder of Jirani, is the lead for this project. Thanks to his vision and your support, the Pokot has a reason to celebrate.

In October Mike will be going back to Kenya with a team to document what has been accomplished. We will update you then.
